In$_{3}$Ir

  • The ICSD places $\epsilon$–Al$_{3}$Ni ($D0_{20}$) in the Fe$_{3}$C ($D0_{11}$) structure type. While both structures are in the same space group and have the same occupied Wyckoff positions, the lattice constants are very different, so split these compounds into two classes. In any case the different Strukturbericht entries require two entries in the Encyclopedia.
